When a sofa bed is still enough
Honest answer: if a guest only stays over 2–3 times a year and your budget is tight, a sofa bed will do. As soon as someone sleeps on it regularly – in a studio flat, a student room or a guest room used every day – the proper mattress in a wall bed pays off every night.

Are there wall beds that are also a sofa?
Yes – wall beds with a pre-assembled sofa (SMARTBett M1/M2/M3 with sofa or corner sofa): a sofa by day, and at night the bed folds down over the sofa. Unlike a sofa bed, you sleep on a proper mattress, not on the seat cushions.
Do I have to move the sofa on a wall bed with sofa?
No. The sofa stays where it is; only the back and lumbar cushions are set aside, and the seats lower via a lifting mechanism.
