Gas pressure springs
Thanks to the gas pressure springs, opening and closing the bed requires hardly any support and can be done with minimal effort. The specially developed system and the gas pressure springs make the process almost silent, as if it happened by itself.
Material
The front of the wall bed is made of chipboard (16/22 mm thick) with a high-quality melamine coating that stands out for its resistance to scratches and high temperatures.
Handle & feet
When the bed is opened, the sturdy feet fold out in one movement and offer a maximum load capacity of up to 400 kg. Please refer to the dimensions for the exact load capacity. On slightly uneven floors, the height can be adjusted individually thanks to the height-adjustable feet.
Upholstered frame
The upholstered frame surrounds the bed, i.e. the slatted base and the mattress. The modern upholstery gives an attractive look, especially when the bed is open.

Recommendation for a Suitable Mattress
The wall bed is suitable for a mattress with a maximum height of 20 cm. The recommended total weight of the mattress(es) is 20–35 kg.
Please note: the depth of this modern, slim wall bed is only 40 cm. With a 20 cm mattress (the design maximum), there is hardly any room left for bedding.
The mattress can stay in the bed without any problem when the front is closed. Included in delivery are three click straps, which securely hold the mattress and, if necessary, a small amount of bedding in place to ensure easy and safe closing.
