The Process: From Order to Assembly
Here's how it works at LOFT & LYS — from clicking "order" to your fully assembled wall bed.
1. Manufacturing
Your wall bed is manufactured by SMARTBett. Every component undergoes its own quality inspection before packaging.
2. Shipping
Shipping is handled by freight carrier. The delivery time is stated in the respective product description and in the shopping cart.
3. Delivery
You will receive advance notice of the delivery date. Free curbside delivery — delivery into your home is optional (+99 €); not available for sets or wall beds with sofa.
4. Assembly
Self-assembly by two people using the instructions — or optional professional on-site assembly by trained technicians.
Professional Assembly (optional)
Trained technicians deliver and assemble your wall bed professionally, safely and cleanly — including tidying up the work area and, on request, disposing of the packaging material. Delivery and assembly take place either on the same appointment, or we deliver first and schedule assembly separately — we take care of the scheduling for you. Can be booked directly with the respective wall bed in the configurator.

Requirements for assembly: at least 10 m² of space at the assembly location · floor slope max. 2 cm over 175 cm (1,15 %) · ceiling height at least 235 cm · for wall mounting, a solid wall (no lightweight wall) with a wall thickness of at least 10 cm · skirting boards deeper than 2 cm must be removed beforehand · no water pipes or electrical cables at the mounting points.
